Had a blast April 22 doing the country tour , the stops along the way were a nice break, the no rush approach was fantastic.. seeing some incredible huge , immaculate working farms were very impressive.. forgot to ask or recommend maybe a card with the names and addresses of the places we stopped at for future visits.

From the moment we arrived until we left this was a 5 star experience.Brian took great care of us on the road and we really enjoyed the countryside, and Brian's humor. We rented a two seater scooter which was very easy to drive. We switched drivers at one of the stops so we both could have the experience of driving. Brian did a nice job of teaching us a little about the Amish culture throughout the ride. We'll come back again and bring some friends. Highly recommended!

We had a funfilling tour zipping around on the country back roads. Beautiful Fall day. Our guide Brian was very patient and informative. Enjoyed the many stops we made at different farms, feeding the goats and chickens, eating soft pretzels and ice cream, and visiting a few shops. Excellent pace even for new riders. Overall a wonderful experience!

We had a blast cruising the backroads and visiting local farms and businesses with our tour guide/owner Marc! The Countryside Excursion was a perfect mix of scootering through the farmland and making stops at family owned shops and farms. Marc was absolutely hilarious and made sure we enjoyed every second of it! If you're contemplating booking a tour....do it!!

To celebrate my wife’s retirement and birthday earlier this month, we decided to do something unique and truly different so we booked the covered bridges tour with Strasburg Scooters---and I’m so glad we did! We had such a wonderful time touring the Amish countryside on an absolutely beautiful late summer day with an excellent our tour guide Brian and the great people who were in our group. Some used the two wheel scooter but those of us who were less adventurous chose to commandeer a three wheel “scoot coupe” which was a blast to ride in!And I cannot say enough about Brian-----He was very professional, attentive, engaging, knowledgeable, amusing (I did laugh at all of his jokes, even the ones that were Dad-like!) and went the extra mile to make sure everyone was enjoying their time out on the road. He was also very resourceful in dealing with a few snafus experienced along the way and did everything possible to ensure we completed the tour as scheduled. He even took the time to graciously share some very wise marital advice with us before we departed (we’re remembering to say those special words when leaving each other, Brian!).All in all, it was an amazing time that my wife and I will never, ever forget----thanks to Brian and Strasburg Scooters!Try ‘em out-----you DEFINITELY won’t be disappointed!

Took a covered bridge motorscooter tour at Strasburg Scooters today. Turned out to be the highlight of our trip. Brian the owner was patient with new riders and made the entire experience a great time. We saw parts of the countryside we would have never seen in a car. My highest recommendations go out to this business. Find time and just do it. You will be glad you did.

Strasburg Scooter TourReview of Covered Bridge Tour Scoot Coupe:WHAT A BLAST!!! A must do when visiting town. Our guide, Brian, was fabulous! He started with the safety course and then properly fitted everyone with a helmet. We all had a good tutorial on the operation of our vehicles and were allowed to have a few circles around the parking lot before the tour began. Once done, we were on our way. We were up and down the hills with ease. The covered bridge tour was very enjoyable. Brian used each of our cameras to take pictures of us at the bridge. Whether you choose the two-wheel or the scoot scooter for two, the ride is a bunch of fun. Speeds were easy to handle- approximately 30 MPH. We will be back next time for more laughs. Thank you, Brian!

We have been to Lancaster 3 times before and never did this scooter tour until our most recent trip. And let me say - we had a BLAST! My party of 3 did the Covered Bridge Tour and the scenery was so beautiful!! We thought the other tours might have been a bit more exciting than viewing bridges, but we were wrong wrong WRONG! The history was interesting and the scenery as mentioned above stole the show. The tour wasn’t lacking for anything.Brian was a great tour guide and made us all feel comfortable. He has a great sense of humor and doesn’t take safety lightly. Although I didn’t find the women’s bathroom sign on the third tree to the left…. That is my only complaint. Jk jk… ha! I do wish they took potty breaks, but perhaps they do on other tours and just not this one! There are clean restrooms before and after the tour at their homebase! We all agreed the length of the tour was well worth the price. We will be back!

This was one of the most enjoyable things I’ve ever done in my life. It was easy to learn how to drive the scooter even though I was a bit nervous. The drive was easy and the breeze on that perfect sunny day made every moment so peaceful. I loved going to the individual farms and chatting with the people there and buying some local goods. We did the covered Bridge Tour and it was an awesome experience! Our tour guide Brian Barr was very personable and informative about the amish culture and history. The scooter was easy to ride and very comfortable and made exploring the amish countryside a breeze! The various stops throughout the tour were excellent and showed us how the amish live and also allowed us to support their small businesses. Highly recommend this to anyone looking to learn more about the amish and explore the beautiful countryside of Lancaster PA.

SPEECHLESS! I have always wanted to go to Amish Country and finally had the opportunity to go. My friend is actually the one who found Strasburg Scooters, but I am soooo glad she did! I chose to do the tour in Bird in Hand with Dave (for no reason in particular at the time) but feel very thankful that’s the way it worked out! It ended up just being me on the tour, and Dave could have easily cancelled instead of wasting a tour on just me, but he didn’t and I had the time of my life. SUCH KINDNESS! He went above and beyond to make sure I had a memorable experience…and that I did! He was also beyond patient with me as I could not for the life of me figure out how to put the kickstand down (although I did finally conquer it at the *end* of the tour). We got a good laugh numerous times. There are no words to express the breathtaking views. Pictures truly don’t do it justice! Aside from the beautiful scenery, there are BUTTERFLIES FLYING AROUND YOU AS YOU DRIVE and you can see hundreds of caterpillars inching across the road. Dave would pull over on the side of the road to share facts with me, and he was very knowledgeable about the Amish community. Both the time and the money are 100% worth it, and they allow you to see Amish Country like you’ve never seen it before…even if this isn’t your first time! You get to ride the country backroads at a leisurely pace and take in everything as you go. You go from riding with fields stretching for miles and miles on each side of you to riding between cornstalks that tower high above your head! There’s another scooter tour in Strasburg. If I would have had the time (I was just here for the day) I would have done that one, too!Even if you don’t have much experience with scooters (I had only ridden one once before), it is totally doable and EXTREMELY WORTH IT! You get the hang of it very quickly and Dave also walks you through everything beforehand. You will absolutely NOT regret this tour! Thanks, Dave!

Despite the on/off rain Brian, our scooter tour guide, made our first time riding scooters a great experience! The rain was predicted to stop by the time our 9am tour started but didn't. Overall we had a great time in addition to the sun finally making it's way on the way back to end our tour.

We went on this trip several weeks back and had a blast. We rented two single seat scooters and one Scoot coupe and did the Covered Bridge Tour. It makes for a great family outing. The kids can go with adults in the Scoot Coupe or, if they're old enough, can go on their own Single seat. The tour guide was great (I'm sorry I don't remember his name), had an amazing knowledge of the area and was very comical. He represented the business VERY well, to the point that I thought he may be the owner. Thanks for the pictures by the way!! I hope he's the guide on our next visit. We'll certainly be doing this again probably in October when they do The Spooky Scoot tour.

Great ride informative did expect to see more than 3 covered bridges. scooters are fun to drive wish they had different way to make sure people know how to ride before they can sign up for scooter vs coup. Was very hot day we went. One inexperienced person took about 10 to 15 mins attempting to learn to ride while the rest of us had to sit and bake in blistering sun, heat and humidity with no shade before they finally gave her a coup to use in stead Would highly recommend tour. Had great time once we got out on the rode.

My boyfriend and I were visiting Lancaster for a long weekend and while looking for things to do we saw this! I have been to Lancaster many times and will continue to visit. But once you take these scooters out you will see Lancaster differently and even more beautifully. Our tour guide was great and made it personal for all of us. Make sure you have your camera out for so many great photo ops! we will definitely do it again on our next visit!! We even stopped at an amish home to see their farm and had some fresh baked goods and lemonade. it was so much fun and so nice to see Lancaster through a different view. the tour guides know the best back rounds and scenic routes! will be back soon

My husband and I took our four boys on the Bird In Hand tour, along with my my husband's cousin and spouse. We all had a wonderful time. In fact, it was the most fun I have had in a long time. Our 16 year old wasn't too thrilled at first but after he had some ice cream he really started to enjoy himself and he even laughed while going down some of the hills. That is a huge win in my book. The other three boys all have autism and they loved it. One of our twins hardly ever smiles and I saw him smiling a lot on this tour and that is high praise from him.Brian was an awesome guide and took the time to talk to all of the tour members and he kept things fun and upbeat.I'm hoping to get my father-in-law out with us on another tour on one of our next trips here because I know he would love it.I highly recommend Strasburg Scooters.

Tour date - 6/21First day of vacation. Showed up, checked in, grabbed a bite to eat, and then headed out to go to Strasbourg Scooters for a Scooting for Scoops tour. What an absolute blast!! We got a quick run down of how the coupe worked and then lined up to hit the road. The ride through the back roads was very beautiful and the local folks very friendly. The guide was very friendly and informative about Amish culture. The local ice cream is made from Jersey cows and gives it a slightly different flavor than most ice cream I have tried but it was just as delicious! Was a great first day of vacation activity to see the area, get outdoors, and have some sweets.

Brian was knowledgable of the area people and history and took us on many untraveled routes where we bearly saw any other traffic. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a unique experience.

I'm gonna give it honest review about this place. For starters I want to state I have never rode moped, motorcycle, or any motorized bicycles in my life. This was my very first time. My tour guide was Brian he was awesome guide really helped me out and made me have more confidence in myself as we were Riding like I said this was my first time on anything. We tooked the covered bridge tour and he told us that was about good 30 miles ride. So we got there they fitted us with helmet and showed us what to do and had drive around in circles til he felt comfortable with us. Once we got road it was fun dude I zooming down road making these turns I was doing great for my first time. But then he took us these giant hill like I could see the top of silos, three-story house. I wasn't aspecting these big hills with gnarly curves in them. The worst ones were the steep ones with a stop sign the bottom of it. Again it's my first time riding in my entire life but I listen to his advice "have faith in your bike." I didn't fall once and make back trusting him. I wish I knew ahead of time of these giant hills and steep roads. But beside that it was really fun and I had great time. Not gonna lie to you I'll probably be back again. It was really fun. I learned a lot and would recommend this riders with no experience and want to get it. Go on this you'll be shown how take curves, stop, take on big hills, deal actually traffic and traffic lights. If your experience rider I highly highly recommend it. You'll see some amazing views and really have a blast. I loved I think I'm going to get into riding thanks to these awesome people. I wanted to note tho you are on actually roads with Amish people. It so neat interacting with them. Something you'll never get from sitting in car. I remember the one house we passed an little Amish girl screamed "their here." And all these little Amish kids came running to wave at us with big smiles as we passed by. I'll never forget that. Thanks guys for awesome time I leaned alot and I'll be back soon enough haha maybe for some ice cream on that ice cream tour.

These scooter rides are highly recommended for people visiting Lancaster, especially those fairly new to the area. They are a fun way of cruising the rural back roads that one normally would not drive on if not living locally. The only caveat to these little excursions is that they seem to be centered around the Amish. This may be great for many who are not familiar withese hard working religious people. However, Amish can be found throughout the continental US, especially in Northwest Pa, where they are not well accepted and considered annoying, though the Amish were there well before those suburbanites moved in to the developed former farmlands. There is more to Lancaster County than the Amish, however this particular tour focused on visiting local small family owned Amish retail establishments with what appeared to be the intent to get people to make purchases from them. While my wife saw this as Amish trying to capitalize on tourists, I was very pleased to discover these places that I never knew existed despite the many trips to Lancaster over the years. We were the last tour of the day and in fact were the only ones, so we got a personalized tour. We were informed that speeds would be low at about 30mph, but thankfully we reached speeds close to 50 at times, making it a little thrilling. Exploring the back roads was a lot of fun, and what was also pleasant was the smiling faces of the Amish young people who wave to you emphatically as you pas them. A group of what looked like Mennonite kids yelled for us to hit the horn. The tour takes a couple of hors that go by pretty quick. Our tour guide, I believe her name was Jessica, was fantastic and very pleasant despite being disappointed that we not only showed up late, but did not notice she tried to contact us about starting the tour early to end early, which we would have done.I recommend this tour, but when you go, take a lot of cash as some of the places you visit don't take cash and you WILL want to purchase something. It is also customary to tip the tour guide as well. One little Amish market has an ATM but you will be charged a fee at the machine and probably by your bank as well. After your scooter ride, if not full from your sweets and ice cream you bought, go across the street to the Bird in Hand restaurant and stuff yourself sick.

The Strasburg Scooter tour of Lancaster was excellent! The views of the rolling hills and farms from my moped were beautiful. I enjoyed all of the Amish owned stops along the way, 4 total shops (soft pretzels, quilts, ice cream, and popcorn). We spent 3 hours enjoying the sites and stores. I deducted one star because of their disregard for wearing masks when closer than six feet; though, it does seem that this area in general is not concerned about COVID.

We offer both 2-wheel motorized scooters and 3-wheel “scoot coupes” (no balancing ability required & fit two people). Riding a 2-wheel scooter is very similar to riding a bicycle. We will provide every operator with training prior to the tour. We focus on balance, throttle, and brakes. You don’t have to have ever driven (or ridden) on a scooter before, but booking a two-wheel scooter is strongly discouraged for guests that have never ridden a 2-wheel bicycle. If we do not feel comfortable with your ability to safely operate a scooter, we will not take you on the tour (unless you’re a passenger with someone else). We offer 3-wheel Scoot Coupes which require no balancing ability to operate.
